One of those weeks

Yep, I said week. I'm not sure why but this one has just been long and tiring.  All of the chores that I missed out on last week have piled up on top of what I needed to get done this week.  I feel like instead of cleaning house I've just been chasing my little one around trying to stay on top of the messes she makes. Which these days can range from having to vacuum up graham cracker crumbs (from a package that my long, tall, sally swiped off the counter top) trailing from the hallway all the way INTO my bed to cleaning applesauce off the floor, walls and furniture for the third day in a row.  You'd think I would learn my lesson but I can't help it. The girl loves applesauce.

While I'm kicking myself for getting behind I'm thankful for the extended time we got to spend with friends and family in Kansas all last week.  Time is always so rushed when we head back and this time Harvey and I got to meet up with some people that we don't always get to see.  Some how we missed pictures of Grandpa Ron and our time spent at the Bloss house but a fun time was had, as always.  Reminiscing about the good ole days in Wellsville and testing our brains by quizzing each other with some U.S. history around the breakfast table.

It's always sad to leave but good to be home again.  Next time we'll make it even better and bring Brad with us for the entire week.

Finally caught a true Harvey smile

  2. Haha! I've got a video coming that will show off those skills of hers. Let's just hope she doesn't peak at 18 months!
