Back to Basics

The older I get the less I'm able to remember. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with less sleep, more coffee and the fact that my brain is solely used to read toddler aged books (which is my own lazy fault) and alphabet flash cards on a daily basis.  I quit using a date book when I quit working because who needs a date book when they have one child and the majority of their time is spent at home.  I've slowly realized that while time at home isn't all that action packed I still need that date book to keep things straight.  So, I finally went back to my old ways and bought a new date book and I'm super excited about my pretty gold and ivory striped book. I enjoy saving them as a sort of diary and it's fun to look back and see what was going on during that time of my life.  No matter how mundane it seems to be at the time.

  2. I don't know about you but I feel like my life feels much more important if everything I do is written down somewhere. Like I've actually got purpose in my life other than wiping a runny nose and changing stinky diapers.
