Ever since we've gotten back from our trip Harv's hasn't quite been herself. While her sleep at night has been great she's been taking random naps throughout the day and doesn't want to let me out of her sight. I suppose I can't blame her. I hated being away from home as a child so I can relate and I'm sure in the back of her mind she's thinking we're going to drop her off and leave her somewhere again. I wasn't a huge fan of leaving her in the first place but I know it was both good for her to spend some time with family that she doesn't get to see often and for Brad and I to get away for a bit.
I remembered that I had my dad's old high chair up in the attic and thought it might be something that Harvey would enjoy playing on. It was a hit! It kept her busy for a good hour while I was able to get a few things done without her tugging at my pant leg every step of the way. Plus, after I stripped off the old floral fabric that my grandma had put on I realized it's actually going to be a pretty little addition to the kitchen.
