Birthday Girl!

Can't believe this girl is already three years old! We celebrated with burgers, dogs and some sprinkle cupcakes. The cupcakes ended up being a terrible baking FAIL on my part but the birthday girl didn't mind too much.  She took down the frosting and left the rest for me to clean up.

This year has been a big one for her and I thought I would list her "accomplishments" so that we don't forget:

- She weaned from nursing

- Got rid of the pacifier

- Potty trained

- Moved to a big girl bed

- Had her first few nights away from us both

- Became a BIG sister

It's crazy to think how she has changed from a baby to a full on "big girl." She can dress herself for the most part and while I was tending to her brother a few days ago she packed her pack-pack (back pack) with clothes, books and got herself a water bottle and filled it up and had it ready to go as we were heading out for the day.  Her little sense of humor cracks me up and I'm excited to see how that matures.  She thinks she is pretty funny!

While her stubborn nature (I'm hoping that's mostly due to her age) can drive me nuts at times I think I'm going to enjoy this year more than any other.  She's my little buddy!
