Christmas at home

This year we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning for the first time at our own house!  It was a nice lazy morning and while we probably won't get to do it every single year it was a nice addition to this years festivities. We let Harvey use the "fancy" dishes for breakfast and she loved it!

Biscuits and gravy and chocolate chip muffins (technically cupcakes but it's all the same ingredients, right?) for breakfast while wearing our new Christmas duds.  Outside of having to get dressed for the day she did not want to take off her robe, slippers or the bling that she got that morning.

Christmas Eve church was also a first for us and we got to attend the family service with both the kiddos. Harvey got a glow stick and was rocking out to music while we got got to hear about the birth of our wonderful Savior!
