We've gotten in the habit of putting up Christmas decorations before we leave for Thanksgiving so that we can come home and not have to worry about it. And while I would much rather wait (I don't like rushing through Thanksgiving) it is pretty nice to have it done after a busy couple of days of travel and very little sleep.
It's getting better and better each year with Harvey and her excitement for it all. She would have put every single ornament on that tree this year if she could have reached high enough. Little brother was pretty excited about it all as well. He's eaten four ornaments so far (don't worry, we're cheap, the majority of ours are plastic not glass) and I'm certain a few more will bite the dust before Christmas is over.

These are a little dark but I love seeing these three together! Harvey is pretty proud of her little tree that sits in her room. Putting up decorations was fun but a tad stressful as well. Between Brad accidentally breaking Harvey's Mickey Mouse ornament (and the drama that came from that), our Curious George 9 month old getting into EVERYTHING and then promptly sticking it in his mouth and the family of spiders that we had to kill that seemed to take up residence in our tree over the past year I'm glad everything is finally put up for us to enjoy.
