- Harvey getting the flu bug
- Brad cracking a bone in his foot as he was coming to Harvey's rescue at 2:00 in the morning, or so he thought. After hearing her let out an angry scream at me for trying to put her back in her crib, Brad sleepily jumped over our bed and landed sideways on his ankle on a wooden bench at the foot of the bed. Poor guy couldn't even walk for two days. He's now wearing a very fashionable boot with a possible chance of surgery.
- Harvey getting the flu bug while I had my first night away from her. So thankful for patient fathers! And for the fact that he actually cleaned up the mess that Harvey left for him all over her crib.
- Harvey getting the flu bug....yes again. I'm thinking 3rd times a charm and hopeful that we are done with that for this flu season.
- I caught the flu bug.
I'll take those 24 hour flu bugs any day (for myself and Harvey) over having to deal with a runny nosed toddler who can't sleep at night because she's so stuffed up. Keeping ourselves busy was a challenge when it seemed like we were stuck at home for almost two weeks straight. We worked on coloring and drawing owls (she's got a strange obsession with owls right now), watched movies and perfected our winking skills. I think she's got it! (sort of)
