So we took advantage of the nice cool morning and got him moving before the heat of the day set in. Thankfully he moves slow enough that we were able to bring Harvey's tricycle along for her to practice on. And she actually did pretty good. I only had to carry the tricycle, dog leash and hold her hand for about 1/3 way around and I will count that as a success!

Walking Buddies
These days poor Murph can't make it farther than one lap around the neighborhood. When we head out on a walk he's huffing and puffing and slowing down more and more with each step. I like to think that his age is the problem but I'm pretty certain he weighs well over 80 lbs and that does not help is his case at all. He's always been "big boned" but it's time we do a better job of making him exercise regularly.
